Sandy Springs is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sandy Springs follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. It's pretty nice for a public park, the soccer fields are nice. The bathrooms are meh, but they had soap and paper towels. A few possibly homeless people I noticed passing to use the bathroom but they kept to themselves. The damn pickle ball courts smelled like pot, freaking hipsters, but it could have been the basketball courts. All things considered, a nice park especially because the SSPD is the freaking best.

I live in the building right behind the field and the level of disrespect from the players playing from 6am to midnight to the lawn care team mowing etc as early as 7am. We live here and cannot leave our windows open due to the noise. Some of us like to sleep.

It's one of the best turf fields. Only thing is, the soccer people can be so rude when kickball is playing. We have had to stop games because they will continue to practice and kick balls into our games. When they are out there, we are respectful of their time. It would be nice if they returned the favor. We pay money to play and would like to do so uninterrupted. Other than that, I love this field. Oh, and so happy it has clean restrooms to use.

Great to watch flag football and we had shade! Easy access for a double stroller (had the grands with us!) I would have given 5 stars if there were a kiddie park nearby, but had a great time with the family!

Had a really great time watching my son at the SEAC football combine held at Hammond Park. It was a great venue for this event.
